Centrex provides comprehensive in-house machining capabilities, ensuring maximum control over your project’s quality and timeline. Our dedicated metalworking equipment includes an automatic band saw with a 12-inch capacity, a high-definition plasma table for cutting stainless steel up to one inch thick, milling machines, lathes, punches, and a shearing/brake system. Furthermore, Centrex exclusively utilizes this equipment for stainless steel and even higher-grade alloys, guaranteeing optimal material handling and finish.
Centrex has a team of Certified welders who take pride in their art. Whenever possible all welds are made with an automatic computer controlled orbital welder. All sanitary welds are done using cryogenic Argon stored in bulk tanks distributed through a polished stainless-steel piping network. All welds undergo rigorous quality checks, employing both visual inspections and borescope technology. Additionally, Centrex offers hydrostatic testing of piping systems using deionized (DI) water obtained from our in-house filtration skid.
Centrex maintains a dedicated polishing facility equipped with filtered downdraft tables to ensure a clean and controlled environment. We leverage a combination of semi-automatic polishing machines capable of handling both the interior (ID) and exterior (OD) surfaces of pipes and tubes, along with a comprehensive range of manual polishing tools for tackling everything from large tanks down to the most intricate fittings. Centrex’s services extend beyond polishing, offering both electro-passivation and certified electropolishing to cater to your project’s specific finishing requirements.
